When thinking of Hollywood glamor, seldom does the name Katherine Hepburn come up. 'Excellent actress'... sure. 'Inspired comedienne'...always! 'Empowered woman of her era determined to take control of her career'... certainly! Starlet style? Not so much.
It is a shame, really. Katherine Hepburn was no glamor puss, but her tangy beauty and bold sense of style were truly incomparable. Slim and angular, her body was built for tailored, menswear-inspired items and she wore them so, so well.
Oh Hepburn, no one could rock wide legged trousers and wedge sandals quite like you. Why you look positively....hipster!
